TICH has successfully served as a secretariat for a range of health initiatives, including the Lake Region Economic Block (LREB), and functioned as the Secretariat for the Social Aspects of HIV/AIDS Research Alliance (SAHARA) for Eastern and Central Africa from 2004 to 2010.
